Thomas Alva Edison was born in 1847. He was sick a lot when he wasyoung. Edison's mother taught him lessons at home and he only studiedthe things he wanted to know. At the age often he read his first sciencebook. After he read the book, he built a laboratory in his house. SoonEdison become an inventor. He was interested in the telegraph andelectricity. At the age of twenty-three, he made a special telegraphicmachine and sold it for a lot of money. With this money he was now freeto invent all the time.	Томас Альва Эдисон родился в 1847 г. Edison started his own laboratory at Menlo Park, New Jersey. He hiredmechanics and chemists to help him. He worked day and night. Once heworked on forty-five inventions at the same time. His other famous inventionwas the light bulb. Edison died in 1931, at the age of eighty-four. Hehad over 1,300 inventions to his name!
