We live in a new 16-storeyed block of flats. It's situated in a verypicturesque place. There's a big supermarket on the ground floor andit's very convenient to do everyday shopping. Our flat is on the fifth floor. It's very comfortable and well-planned.We have all modern conveniences, such as central heating, electricity,gas, cold and hot running water, and telephone. There are three rooms, akitchen, a bathroom, and a hall in our flat. There's also a balcony andwe can enjoy a lovely view of the river.	Мы живем в новом 16-этажном доме. Онрасположен в очень живописном месте. На первом этаже находитсясупермаркет, и очень удобно каждый день ходить за покупками. Нашаквартира на шестом этаже. Она удобна и хорошо спланирована. У нас естьвсе современные удобства, такие как центральное отопление,электричество, газ, холодная и горячая водопроводная вода и телефон. Внашей квартире три комнаты, кухня, ванная и коридор. Есть также балкон, имы можем наслаждаться прекрасным видом на реку.
The largest room in our flat is the living room and we use it as adining I room also. In the middle of the room there is a big table andsix chairs round it. Opposite the window there is a wall unit with lotsof books, a TV-set, and a video cassette recorder. There are twocomfortable armchairs and a small coffee table in the right-hand corner.There is also a sofa and an electric fire in our living room. We likethe living room best of all, so in the evenings we gather there to havetea, watch TV, talk, and rest.	Самая большаякомната в нашей квартире — это гостиная, мы также пользуемся ею какстоловой. В центре комнаты стоит большой стол, а вокруг него — шестьстульев. Напротив окна находится стенка, в которой много книг, телевизори видеомагнитофон. В правом углу — два удобных кресла и маленькийжурнальный столик. В гостиной есть диван и электрический камин. Большевсего нам нравится гостиная, и вечерами мы собираемся там, чтобы выпитьчаю, посмотреть телевизор, пообщаться и отдохнуть.
My room is the smallest room in our flat, but it is very cosy and light.There is a bed, a wardrobe, a desk, an armchair, and severalbookshelves here. There is a thick carpet on the floor. The walls in myroom are light brown and there are some big posters on them. I like myroom very much, but from time to time I change it round. I quite oftenmove the bed anJ change the posters on the wall. Our kitchen is large and light. It is very well-equipped, We have got arefrigerator, a freezer, a microwave oven, a coffeemaker, and a toaster.W haven't got a dishwasher yet, because it is very expensive. But I'msure w shall buy it in the nearest future.	Моя комната самаямаленькая в нашей квартире, но очень уютная и светлая. Здесь естькровать, платяной шкаф, письменный стол, кресло и несколько книжныхполок. На полу лежит толстый ковер. Стены в моей комнатесветло-коричневые, на них висят несколько плакатов. Мне очень нравитсямоя комна--та, но время от времени я переставляю в ней мебель. Довольночасто передвигаю кровать и перевешиваю плакаты на стене. Наша кухнябольшая и светлая. Она очень хорошо оборудована. У на есть холодильник,морозильная камера, микроволновая печь, кофеварка и. тостер. Пока ещенет посудомоечной машины, так как она очень дорогая. Н я уверен, что мыее купим в ближайшем будущем.
